Abstract
This paper presents mathematical models and optimization algorithms aimed at improving the management and operation of containers in port complexes. The research methods mainly include spatial optimization via Ek problems, discrete event simulation (DES) for resource coordination and handling activities, and Monte Carlo methods to optimize the inventory of repair container reserves. The modeling and simulation results demonstrate that these algorithms can improve space utilization efficiency, reduce operating costs, and balance container reserve inventory to minimize downtime. This study provides scientific foundations and practical solutions for modern container management in complex seaport environments
